I didn’t teach this lesson in class because I wasn’t able to get to it in a semester, but as I was reading through the lesson I did think it would have been difficult to make the connection between the previous lessons in Unit 4. Unit 3 and 4 were really fun and interesting units that students may have gotten bored with Unit 5. On day 1, I would have assigned the assessment in the lesson as homework. Because I didn’t teach the lesson to my students, I did not change anything in the lesson. Once I teach it next school year, I will make an necessary changes.
