Hi all! My name is Ebeliz and I currently live in Dallas, TX. I am from the amazing island of Puerto Rico (if you’re following the news, it doesn’t sound so amazing right now, but trust me, it is!). I have been teaching Technology Applications in an urban middle school for the past 8 years.

I’m looking to engage students to be free thinkers and I think CS will allow me to do just that. I want to motivate them to be creative and to look forward to finding problems so they can tackle them head on. I believe these are skills that will be valuable to them in life even if they decide not to continue in any CS centered career.
