Our school wants to ensure our students stay current, culturally relevant, and deeply engaged with modern technology, our district team is eager to introduce an AI unit into our elective Computer Science courses. However, we are reaching out today because we need your expert direction.
Our Dilemma: Overwhelmed by Options
In reviewing the available AI mini-curriculums, our team has felt incredibly overwhelmed by the sheer volume of offerings. Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to easily filter the units and courses to perfectly match our structural constraints and desired outcomes.
Here is what we are working with and what we are looking for:
The Timeline: We have a strict 45-day education block to teach this course.
The Approach: Because we teach elective courses, high engagement is non-negotiable. We are deeply concerned about picking a pathway that is too overly academic or theoretical in nature.
The Goal: We want to replicate the “create from scratch” magic of CS Discoveries. We need a curriculum that leans heavily into the hands-on, project-based side where students are actively prompted and instructed to build things on their own.
