I’m working on curriculum map for CSD. Is there a resource somewhere that has essential questions, objectives, benchmarks, etc. listed so that I don’t have to reinvent the wheel?

Hi @dholte,

Let’s see if I can help point you in the right direction…

- Question of the Day can be found in the lesson plans in the Overview section as well as the slides for each Unit.

- Objectives for each lesson are in the lesson plans in the Objectives section.

- Not sure what you mean by benchmarks but there is a standards alignment section [HERE](https://curriculum.code.org/csd-20/standards/). The top half of the page are learning frameworks but as you scroll down - you will find alignments to CSTA standards.

- So that you don’t have to open each lesson plan, each unit has a “All Lesson PDF” once you open one lesson plan. You could then search for question of the day and objectives for each lesson in the unit in one document.

Lesson plans and slides are available to [verified teachers.](https://support.code.org/hc/en-us/articles/115001550131-Becoming-a-verified-teacher-CS-Principles-and-CS-Discoveries-only-)

Hope that helps!
Michelle

Did you ever create a CSD Curriculum Map? I’m in a tiny district with only one elem, Jr High, & HS. I am a bit overwhelmed in the task. Could you share what you have?

@mindyw,

I think what’s tricky is that a curriculum map can be very different depending on what your needs are, what your school or district might ask to see and also depending on which units you plan on teaching.

Here’s a link to a document showing several different implementations of CSD (depending on how much time you have), so that may be a good starting point.

If there are other specific elements you are seeking, we are happy to help you try and find them, but I don’t think there’s a good one-size fits all curriculum map as the implementation can be so different from one school to another.

Happy to help locate other elements of it for you, though if you need them!
