# CS Discoveries - Entire Class Work Disappeared

After assigning our next unit, I went to grade some past work. All of my students work has been returned to the initial version. I have checked different versions.

I was confident assigning a new lesson would not affect past work, but it seems to have messed something up.

Any ideas?

Hi @elizabethpetersen , welcome to the forum. If I’m understanding you correctly, it sounds like it’s one of two possibilities. It’s either a bug that [support@code.org](mailto:support@code.org) can help with, or you accidentally switched between versions. I have done that myself. Check in your dashboard to see which version is assigned. It should be '23-'24 for the most up to date version. Here’s what mine looks like, if that’s helpful.
