# Is there a way to copy sprites from old lessons and put them in a new one?

I was wondering if there was a way to copy a sprite from one lesson and insert it in another lesson.

Hi @schwartzkopfd,

Kids work so hard on some of those sprites! It is useful to use in more than one project. The way my kids move sprites from project to project is a bit tedious but it works for the most part:

- Go to the sprite you want to copy. Use the rectangle selection tool to select the sprite.

- Open the other project (or have it open in another tab) and just hit paste. You can move it around with the hand tool once it pasted.
- For an animated sprite, you’ll have to repeat this for each frame.

If someone has an easier method, hopefully they will share here:)
