@colemac,

Welcome to the computer science teacher community! There are a lot of good resources that can help you get started. Since you are teaching 7th grade, the suggested [code.org](http://code.org) curriculum for middle school is CS Discoveries. Here’s a link to a self-guided online professional development module for teachers new to teaching Computer Science and the [Code.org](http://Code.org) CS Discoveries Curriculum.

[Teaching Computer Science Discoveries](https://studio.code.org/courses/self-paced-pl-csd-2022?section_id=4241494)

I would suggest you start with that and of course come back here with any questions you may have!

Good luck!

Mike
