# Purchasing Circuit Playground

I am planning on teaching the 9 week circuit playground unit next year, but it is out of stock everywhere. I need help with this ASAP please.

Unfortunately, this does happen. Usually the shortage doesn’t have a long duration. I would suggest checking back periodically or maybe emailing Adafruit and they may know how long the backlog will persist.

The other option would be to go with MicroBits instead. They’re usually available and there is a secondary curriculum option to go with them. The price is comparable to the Circuit Playground.
