**What I expect to happen:** The student wants to enter a state and have the info displayed about that state
**What actually happens:** error appears on line 38
**What I’ve tried:** This is my first year teaching this class. I’m honestly not sure where to start finding the issue.

The biggest problem I see is that it isn’t done. You need `onEvent` calls for all the buttons. You need to make the `"titleScreen"` screen the default.

Think about where to call `filter`. If you call it before `"stateInput"` has a value what state would you expect it to select?

> Everything You Wanted to Know About Arrays, But Were Afraid to Ask. [] have two uses. One is to create an array and potentially initialize it. So for example: var a = [1,2,3]; That creates an array and assigns it to a variable. Is that variable an array now? No, it is not. Trick question. Variables don’t have types in Javascript. a is a variable that has an array value. It could just as easily hold a number or a string. Variables don’t care. I see a lot of var cats = [getColumn("Cats","Nam…
