# Submitting a Draft to AP instead of clicking "Submit Final"

If a student only submits a draft to the AP Board and did not click “Submit Final”, does the AP Board still grade the latest version of the draft they submitted?

as I understand it no they will not grade anything that wasnt actually submitted, but I could be wrong

That’s what I thought. I just had students saying that other teachers in other classes told them that they would grade the latest draft uploaded. Probably wishful thinking…

maybe they meant for a class grade? may have been a misundersanding
