# Unit 2 internet v www 🇬🇧

Why doesn’t [code.org](http://code.org) make the difference between INTERNET V WWW clear? It seems to try to promote the idea that the Internet is the www and was invented by Cerf et al. This is not true. In fact you need to know this difference for the AP exam. Is this political? No mention of Tim Berners Lee as the inventor of HTTP and HTML is criminal in my opinion. Be happy that you guys invented the Internet protocols and infrastructure. Don’t claim the web too just because thats the cool bit!
