When my children first started school, I tried to stay involved/volunteer at school. I went on field trips, helped in the classroom when available, went to all the school functions. 
In 2020, we relocated from Southern California to Western Nebraska where I got a job at our public high school as a paraeducator. This was my first experience getting paid in the field of education. For 4 out of 5 years, I worked with the freshman classes in the core subjects - essentially moving from classroom to classroom as a TA. Throughout this time, I developed a desire to do more than just assist.
In 2025, we again relocated, this time to Wyoming. I saw and opportunity and applied to teach at a local Christian school - where I am currently employed. 
I am excited to continue on the journey of being an educator!
