I’m a special education teacher in Vista, California. I have students in kindergarten through fifth grade. I share my students with the general education teachers and work with them to remediate the areas they struggle with. I feel like teaching them how to use coding will allow them another avenue to demonstrate their learning. Additionally, I plan to have a club for K-5 students where they can all learn more about computer science.
