The important thing is that technology is the tool used for discovery. The technology should not interfere with students understanding of the science behind the model. We have enough effective filters in science education and don’t need the help of technology to provide more. The technology should demonstrate how a model should work in the real world. The model should also demonstrate what happens when the model does not work. It should also have real world cause and effect components. Like designing a model for the 1st world and the 3rd world.
