Identify ways that technology can foster teamwork, and collaboration can support problem solving and innovation.
Interact with content-specific models and simulations to support learning, research and problem solving (e.g., immigration, international trade, invasive species).
Evaluate a hardware or software problem and construct the steps involved in diagnosing and solving the problem (e.g., power, connections, application window or toolbar, cables, ports, network resources, video, and sound).
Weigh the merits of alternative strategies for solving a specific societal problem by comparing a number of different costs and benefits, such as human, economic, and environmental.
Develop criteria for selecting appropriate hardware and software when solving a specific real-world problem (such as business, educational, personal).
