Sprite Lab Continuous Background

I have a student creating a driving game. How do we make the background scene (houses and buildings) continuous while the car is driving? Do we make the background move instead of the car? It works for the length of the background and then it turns white but the car keeps “driving”. Any help is greatly appreciated.
