In Part 1, on slide 205 it states, “Check back in with your group. Share some of the sentences you annotated. Did everyone identify the same areas?” When it says “Did everyone identify the same areas?” it leads me to believe that students should be in groups according to the article they read, but that’s not stated when they are asked to get into groups.
Then it says in Part 2, slide 215, that they should “Join a group with others who read the same article.” which leads me to think that they shouldn’t have been in groups according to the article they read in Part 1, but they should be now.
Just looking for some clarification.
