Has anyone been able to pinpoint some lessons that can be omitted from the Units in AI Foundations course (also used for Indiana 4565 which is what I am using it for) that might be repetitious or take to much time since this is a one semester course? I’m trying to streamline and make the most impact on the students to perhaps nurture an interest in computer science as a pathway.
Hi Stacie! It’s Kerry (from Nextech). I had previously looked at slimming down the course, while still hitting all the standards. Here are the units with lessons you would need to teach. If a lesson isn’t listed you could skip it. Just a disclaimer, I haven’t had anyone try this yet, and I would love feedback.
Unit 1 Lessons: 1-13
Unit 2 Lessons: 1-6 and 10
Unit 3 Lessons: 1-13
Unit 4 Lessons: 1, 7, 9
Unit 5 Lessons: 1-3
Unit 6 Lessons: 1, 2, 8
