Hello. I am a Director of a small public library in Alabama and I have been facilitating a Code Club here at our library for the last year. We had received a grant for Prenda (a fee based guide that assists public libraries) in getting a Code Club off the ground. The grant ends in August of this year and now I am not quite sure where to go next if we don’t get funding for Prenda. Where do I begin? Another public library north of us recommended Code.org so I am here looking into next steps. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know as to where to even begin with lesson planning and class projects, as we are not a class, but more of an after school, code club, our goals are a bit different than say a traditional classroom. Lastly, if any public libraries or school libraries are here, I would love to talk with you more. Please reach out. Thanks in advance.
