For 2d, on the rubric, it says nothing about math/logical operators being a requirement for the abstraction. On the Survival guide it states: “The abstraction must integrate math and logical concepts.” Further down the survival guide clarifies that while we should aim for math/log concepts, this is not explicitly assessed by the Scoring Guide. Why put this in at all? I ask because I trust that everything code.org does seems backed by good reasoning/advice. Do AP readers frown on no math for 2d? Thank you!
The readers only grades what is on the rubric so no they are not looking for math/logic in the abstraction.
