I am retiring at the end of this school year and would love to explore ways to continue contributing to computer science education through Code.org. I hold an MSEd and have used Code.org extensively in my classroom for the past six years.
I have developed a strong skill set in instructional design and content development over the past 12 years as a Teacher. I routinely adapt and redesign Code.org’s existing presentations to better support student understanding and classroom flow.
Because of this experience, I would welcome the opportunity to collaborate with your team—potentially as an independent contractor—to help refresh, expand, or redesign slide decks and instructional materials. I believe my classroom-tested perspective could add value by improving clarity, pacing, and instructional depth while staying aligned with Code.org’s mission. I can also develop teacher resources to help Teachers who are new at using Code.org.
I would be very interested in discussing whether there is a role for this type of partnership and would appreciate the opportunity to speak with someone on your team. Thank you for your time and for the impact Code.org continues to have on students and educators.
