I am going to work on Binary numbers day 10-12 Unit 2. I showed the students various videos
on binary numbers. I showed then using light switches and bulbs.

@obarreda Do you have a picture of your light switches and bulb activity? I’d love to see it or hear how you used it.

CS50 - the introductory CS class at Harvard has well documented materials and they also use a “lightbulb” activity to teach binary (find it here). The course is great if you have students that are excelling at a faster rate, plus the binary bulb game is fun (I’ve had students re-create it in Scratch!)
