Why does the ‘drawSprites’ block need to be above the if/else block for it to work correctly? If the draw block is below the if/then, it doesn’t work. I can’t come up with a reason, can anyone explain this for me? Thanks!!
I believe that since the background is a sprite, the drawsprites button will draw the background sprite over the top of the instructions, so for the instructions to be visible, the drawSprites has to happen before the else statement that generates the text.
Hope this helps.
