Hour of Code with Deaf Students

Hello,
I work at the Delaware School for the Deaf. I was wondering if there is anyone out there who has done Hour of Code with Deaf students - who cannot access the sound/voice directions in the Hour of Code videos? I’d like to hear from teachers of the Deaf who use ASL and how you adapted Hour of Code to make it work for your students.

Karen,

I have 2 deaf sons so I’m always interested in making sure things are accessible. Can your students use captioning? I thought all the videos were captioned. If you find some that aren’t please let me know and I’ll ask the code.org team to get them captioned. If captioning isn’t a solution, what do you think your students would need?
