Inspector Tool Blocked at School

For the lesson 13, the activity guide for use of Inspector tools and observing inspector traffic, the tool is blocked on campus for students. It was very difficult for students to view the items, so I assigned as homework to do at home.

Yep… that’s an issue at my school too. Only with the chromebooks. I just live model it in class because it works on my desktop. It probably isn’t as meaningful (and certainly not as discovery-based) as the real lesson, but it works well-enough.

I do this this is something that could be called out more clearly in the lesson plan. Does anyone else run into this issue at their school?

I had the same issue but it worked on my account

Yes, my classroom Chromebooks have the developer tools blocked.

I did the same improvisation you did by doing a live demonstration, but I don’t think it went so well in terms of student engagement.

Maybe there could be a alternate lesson plan for this situation.

Thanks for the feedback. Looking forward, we’ll definitely try to take this sort of info in to account.
