My goals for this course are to learn about as many AI tools as possible and to learn the basics of AI in order to answer my student’s questions.
A couple goals I have for this course is to use AI to reduce the amount of time I spend planning and to teach students how to use AI responsibly. For planning purposes I want to know the best ways to use AI for things like writing lesson plans, creating appropriate scaffolds, or even creating different level texts for my diverse learners. For my students I want to teach them how to use it in a way that helps them learn from AI and improve their learning.
My goals for this course is to learn the tool of AI better so I can better prepare my students to this world we live in.
My other goal is to help them students to learn how it works and to not be scared by it.
I have several goals for this course. I am currently an Instructional Coach, so I want to learn as much as I can about AI and how it can be effectively used to help teachers in their classrooms. This includes using AI to build engaging lessons and activities for their students. I would like to also be able to help train teachers on how to educate students on using AI. I want to know guidelines that could be used to have students effectively utilize AI and not use it as a “cheating” device.
For this course, I’m hoping to learn about some ways AI tools can be used for both teachers and students. I’m also hoping to learn about what AI tools are out there. I’m sure there’s a variety, but I only know about and have dabbled in a couple.
I am currently over halfway through a PhD in Interaction and Media studies in the College of Education at UNLV. My intended area of research is generative AI and understanding student and teacher perceptions and how those may conflict. I hope this course adds to my overall understanding of generative AI and provides additional tools for my high school cybersecurity classroom.
My goals:
- Use AI in a 4th grade math class
- Be safe and successful with it.
I would like to learn the basics but also just the very diverse types and free resources out there for AI. I want to be aware of the big contenders and how they are developed and being utilized.
My goal with this course is to learn more about AI and how to use it. I would like to integrate it into my day to day teachings and see how it can assist me in becoming more efficient with my work.
My goal is to understand AI and how to use it appropriately for myself and my students. Another goal is that I can provide effective strategies and information to my students so that this tool is used to improve their education and teach them how not to abuse the situation.
I have worked with Generative AI as it relates to design, specifically Architecture and planning. I am looking to increase my awareness of other uses for AI and how to introduce them in an educational setting so that students will use AI responsibly. I have had students try to leverage tools like Chat GPT to write scripts in order to simplify design. I would also like to learn about frameworks to teach students about inputs and outputs so that the results they get when they leverage AI are what they expected.
I want to learn how to use AI as a tool to make my job easier, like putting together lesson plans.
My goals for this course are to learn about new tools available to use in the classroom with AI, and how to be able to effectively and meaningfully use them in the classroom.
I am very excited to learn more about AI and have been using it a little in my job. My goal for this course is to learn how to introduce AI to students to use in the classroom and how to address the ethical issues that are related to AI in terms of learning and using in the classroom. I also want to learn how educators can help students understand these ethical issues and learn classroom management strategies for monitoring the use of AI, while teaching students critical real-world tools to use with technology.
I am hoping to learn how AI is developed and to use it properly in the classroom when teaching students.
My goals for the course are:
-
To understand the tools at my disposal and the best uses for them.
-
Find ways to save time by using these tools.
-
To start integrating AI into the actual classroom with students instead of just for my preparation.
As a school librarian, my primary interest in this course was to learn anything I can to support my teachers in integrating AI tools into their teaching practice. Currently, my biggest issue with that is that I don’t even know what I do not know about AI, so it makes it impossible for me to fulfill that role within my professional responsibilities. Beyond that, with its ubiquity, AI is something that we need to help students navigate. Understanding what it is and is not, what it is capable of doing, and how to utilize it ethically, are all pieces of knowledge that our students need help understanding. You cannot put the toothpaste back in the tube, so the next best thing is to educate ourselves so we can educate others.
I do have experience with A.I, but I want to figure out more ways it can be included in my practice as a useful tool for teaching. I want a variety of A.I options so I can see what is most beneficial for me and my students.
My goals for this course:
- To stay continuously updated on my studies and everything related to my field to ensure constant skill development.
- To enhance my professional and academic abilities through continuous learning and applying what I learn in practical life.
To learn about AI and how to utilize AI in classroom management. Be able to teach my students benefits of AI and have them learn and understand the concept behind AI and how to use them safely.
