Need an ELA standard for every lesson

Our admin requires that we post our objective, purpose, and success criteria for each lesson. Now they are adding that all non-ELA teachers also have an ELA objective for each lesson.

Is anyone else doing this? Can you share?

Thank you!

Wow - that’s a lot of things to “post” for a class! I don’t know what a “good” ELA objective looks like for you admin, but there are vocab terms in each lesson plan that I imagine could be woven into an ELA objective. You might not want to use that as your ELA objective every day, but it could be a place to start or something to use in a crunch.

I am curious about what other people use too!

Happy coding!

I teach ELA and Computers. There are many “Making Inferences” opportunities, haha! Besides that, I am sure that any “domain-specific” vocabulary standard or “read and analyze nonfiction text” standard should be fine.
