Is there a mistake on question 2? It seems that d would also be an answer (since time is not given in the metadata).
I read it thinking time is probably included in the date stamp. Regardless, you could narrow the answers down to B & D, but B is obviously the best answer as there is no ambiguity as to whether that information is collected or not.
Answer D would not be a good answer choice since the question states that each sales record includes the date of sale.
