Random forecaster help

Has anyone successfully applied sound to the random forecaster in Unit 5? A student has sound function completed but we can’t get it to work reliably.

Hi @richard.kelleher,

Can you please submit a link to the project so we can take a look? Assuming it’s coded correctly I don’t see why it wouldn’t be working.

I’d recommend trying these steps:

  • Check that the volume is up on the computer and it is unmuted. Can it play audio from YouTube or another site?
  • Check that there aren’t headphones plugged in or connected via Bluetooth. The sound may be going through there instead of the computer’s speakers.

Once we have that link we can take a look at the code & see if we can’t figure out what’s going on. Thank you!
