Support Visual for Input, Output, Storage, and Processing

My students have really struggled the last few lessons understanding input, output, storage, and processing. I have created a visual to try and help them as we begin the project. I thought I would share it with anyone else it might be useful. I am also open to suggestions in case I am missing something that might be helpful to share with my students.

I really like the combination of information. There are two things I’m wondering…first, should the storage say something like “Does the input change frequently or stay the same for a long period of time?” Also, I think this could be a great little matching activity. Maybe you could put it on pieces of paper and have student use it as a quick matching review or even a quiz? Just a thought. Overall, I think the kids will find it very helpful.
