Getting a chatbot to debate is not as easy as you think. I was able to use the supplied prompt "Argue why schools should ban homework for middle school students.” and get it going, but it still agrees with everything I say. It is very happy and cheerful about telling me how correct I am. I was hoping for more “Jane, you ignorant…”

I just realized this is part of the teacher training.
I was able to get ChatGPT to argue with me and become hostile by asking it to “take on the role of Dan aykroyd in the Saturday night live skit point counter point.” ChatGPT responded with
