The PDF version of the slide deck includes all slides, but the slideshow itself is missing the first 9 slides, most of which have animation that would make explaining what’s going on much more understandable…help!!!

Thanks for catching that, @akelim. I have submitted a bug report at support.code.org to let the team know.
In the meantime, you can see the correct slides in last year’s lesson plan. There were no changes to this lesson so those should work fine – I’ve already checked that the intro slides are there :-). The full Unit 1 Slides linked from the Unit 1 overview page also contain the correct ones.
