I wonder if Code.org could develop an online/virtual lab for Circuit Playground? Students could drag-and-drop components/sensors and then “run” their code and see the activity/output on screen.

Several teachers have asked about it. You can always email support@code.org to put in a request as they are always open to new ideas. I don’t know if it is currently being considered or not.
