What Challenged You the Most?

I think what was most difficult for me was the paired programing. I really like to work independently and have things done in a set manner. I can see where this will be a challenging issue for some of my students also. Working through it will help me deal with students having the same problem I did.

The biggest challenges for me were working with a partner with whom you may or may not have had similar understandings and then trying to figure out what each command means and predict how it would look when you run the code. Sometimes, I got lost in the drawers and where different commands could be found. I need to play with the code more.

I am not sure there was one module or activity that was extremely difficult, but the more I would try to add new items, the more of a mess I seemed to be making. I would get to a point where I was adding too many agents that when something didn’t work as planned, it became frustrating. Fortunately, others were having some of the same issues, so together we were able to work out the kinks.

What challenged me most was having issues with the server that prevented me from building my modules quickly. I always felt behind and frustrated. It slowed results and took me longer to problem solve.

The chemical reactions module was challenging. I wanted to conquer it. Grrr.

I still have the most trouble with the Ecosystems and Chemical equations models.
