WHOA! I LOVE that sky! That must have taken some serious work! @rwaller
Awesome. Would love it if you could share the code!
That skyline looks great. My favorite line in class is “Try it and see if it works.” It’s all about problem solving.
Is this the easiest way to share the code?
For sure! Their response was priceless… “All you have to do it write all your code with your head sideways … and flip your laptop a lot.” LOL!
Hello!
The team recently released a modified share page where we moved the How it Works command from the gray command bar to a purple button called “View Code” in the upper right of the page when viewing on a laptop/desktop. The move was to try to make the command more prominent, and also “How it works” was sometimes misunderstood as “How does App Lab work” vs. “How does this project work”. I’ve registered with the team that the new buttons may not be visible enough, and we will update the How To: Share Code with Teammates reference in Code Studio. Thanks for bringing this to our attention!
Best,
Sarah
I am going to share this with my students. What an inspiration as they complete Unit 3!!
I love the padlet! What a great idea! I am not familiar with that site, did you add the pics or were the students able to add their own? Did they just screenshot their scenes?
Students add their own. I had them save their image by clicking on it, but you could also have them screen shot it and then save it. I found that saving and then uploading it was better than pasting it in there.
Update: At semester time I asked students what their favorite part of first semester was - this project was by far the winner. It was the perfect mix of programming, creativity and collaboration.
That is really amazing.
