Adding 2nd Course to class Section

I’m trying to assign a 2nd course to a Section and know there’s a workaround to Code.org’s limitation of one course, at a time, per Section . If you try to add another course to a Section it wipes out the originally assigned course.
Note, I’m directing all of this via Google Classroom.

One workaround I’ve seen is to 1) Add the original course 2) Go into the second course I want to assign, copy the link, create new assignment in GC using that link. It sounds like the Student has to Signin first? But signing in limits them to the initially assigned Course.

Do I copy the link from the Teacher’s Dashboard? If I go through Course Catalogue it requires me to assign the course to a Section before I even see a link.
Can I assign the course to a Dummy Section (e.g. “Test Section”) and use the link from there?

Could someone walk me through “assigning” a second Course to a Section?
I’m on short time as I’m a long-term sub and am just now finding several students in my classes who are wiz kids and blowing through the Course faster than the rest of the class.

I believe that as long as the kids have a Code.org login and are in any section, when you paste the link to another course, the students should have access to it. This resource article states: While only one course/ unit can be assigned to a section at a time, the course that is assigned to a section is only the first that students will see when they log in. The assigned course isn’t the only course they have access to - which is a frequent point of confusion!

To paste the link to the 2nd course, navigate to the lesson/course you would like them to complete and copy and paste the URL. Here is a screenshot:

and then from the resource article again: Then have the student finish just one level in that (2nd) desired course. Once students finish at least one level in any course, that course will permanently “stick” to their homepage for easy access going forward.
