Here is one idea. I hope you hear ideas from others:
How about create an HTML greeting card? It could be winter themed, or holiday themed if that is appropriate at your school. Students could find appropriate images or animated gifs. If some students are up for the challenge, they could follow the instructions here and add CSS snow.
