Bucket size concept

HELLO ,
if someone can help me understand better the concept of bucket size in CSP unit 5 Data lesson 2 . 23-24?
How to explain it? or find a bucket size ? is it like range or intervals of histogram?

much appreciate your time !

sc

It is an interval. We try to find an interval size that will best display the histogram. Here is some detail from Khan Academy - A histogram displays numerical data by grouping data into “bins” of equal width. Each bin is plotted as a bar whose height corresponds to how many data points are in that bin . Bins are also sometimes called “intervals”, “classes”, or “buckets”. I hope this helps. You can read more in the link I provided.

Thank you for the information.
But it just makes same size of bucket for any handful of the values .like either 2 or 5 or 10…but the bin size does not change the width for some other numbers.
Thats y I was confused.

Thanks again for your help!

Here is an example of the graph not changing when the bucket size changes. Could someone explain why that is the case?
