Classic Circuit Playground obsolete?

I have a class set of the Adafruit Classic Circuit Playgrounds. They don’t work well with code.org’s lessons. Usually they don’t connect. When they do connect, they disconnect themselves. I think they are obsolete at this point.

Has anyone found a different use for them? Or a workaround?

They usually work for me, but there are a lot of moving parts. If you are having a specific technical issue that you can’t resolve, you can reach out to support@code.org.

Often, it’s an IT issue, but the newer ones are a bit more reliable …

I just used them this year and they worked fine on my student Chromebooks. It does connect differently than the instructions, like there’s a pop-up they have to choose to get it to work.
