I understand the concept for hiding to prevent students from going ahead. Has anyone turned off past assignments? I am not sure if this is a good idea, but I am really trying to get kids to complete assignments timely so that they will have the knowledge to move forward. I hope it will teach time management or “do your homework!” I plan to turn them back on after I check off those that completed the stage on time.
How many teachers are checking every bubble? I am and wondered if this was too much; especially for 93 students! I download the text responses too.
I also am concerned for next year. If I turn everything to visible, at least they can’t pass on the course to next year’s friends. And for that matter, I can turn off the pilot class I taught last year too. Would that be an easy add to the 15-16 course?
