Issue with teacher view of students version history

I am teaching CSP but its not clear if my issue is specific to this class.

I used to be able to view my students version history - however, I have lost that ability. It now only shows me the final version when I click “Version History”. On my own levels, I can still see the full version history.

Can anyone confirm if that are also having this experience and if this is an intentional change? Thanks!
