Lists in coding teach unplugged

hello everybody how can i teach Lists in coding to my student unplugged? do you have any idea?

Hi @codbazi,

Good question. Are you teaching Computer Science Principles? The Lists Explore slides in Unit 6 Lesson 1 available to teachers outlines an excellent activity with sticky notes and baggies to introduce the concept of lists. The same type of unplugged activity can be found in the teacher slides for Traversals Explore in Unit 6 Lesson 9. It demonstrates traversing a list. I really like using the manipulatives with the students. Makes the lesson more engaging.

Outside of CS Principles, I have used CS Unplugged activities for searching and sorting lists.

Hope these help,
~Michelle

I second Michelle’s resources - both the baggies lesson and the CS Unplugged activities have resonated for my students.
