Mp4 sound files

When my students create a quicktime audio the format is mp4. Am I correct that mp4 can not be used in building apps they must be mp3?

thank you

Lindy

It is okay. Here is the submission requirements from: https://apcentral.collegeboard.org/pdf/ap-csp-student-task-directions.pdf (page 5)

“Submit a video, audio, or PDF file. Use computing tools and techniques to create one
original computational artifact (a visualization, a graphic, a video, a program, or an
audio recording). Acceptable multimedia file types include .mp3, .mp4, .wmv, .avi,
.mov, .wav, .aif, or .pdf format. PDF files must not exceed three pages. Video or
audio files must not exceed 1 minute in length and must not exceed 30MB in size.”

I am in Unit 5 lesson 3 . #4 building apps . when I choose file for sound it will not even highlight an mp4

to upload. Sometimes it says file not allowed.

I’m sorry, I thought you were referring to what is allowed by college board. Applab only allows mp3 audio files.

Thank you for helping
