New Teacher trying to gain access to previous teacher's class

Hi everyone, I was told I could gain access to my students class without starting the class over. Any information would help me out.

Good morning, I still haven’t been able to join the other teachers portal, i need access to see my students portal, unfortunately i can not even see my students
