Question Hooks for Unit 1

I am always looking for class starter ideas or hooks to get students into the day’s topic or for a quick review of previous material. I thought it might be helpful to start a thread to collect mine and others’ ideas for question hooks for Unit 1.

Here are my ideas:
* Why do people create websites?
* How can text communicate content and structure on a web page?
* How can I incorporate content I find online into my own webpage?

Dave,

These are great - If you have the time, you could also have students present favorite websites highlighting the 1.) Purpose of the website and 2.) the tags you’ve learned.

Looking forward to hearing others ideas as well!
