I have a student who did not commit to the course last year but took it anyway and did not pass. He wants to try again and I’m happy to have him but since this is a guy who will take a short cut if he can, I think he might go into his files from last year and just repeat his code/answers without thinking about it. (It’s kind of a special situation). I think he might use this as a way to avoid working instead of actually learning. Is there a way to block his access to his last year’s files? In most situations I would say it’s a good thing to have access to last year’s files but not in this particular case.
