Setting up Student Usernames for Paired Programming

I am able to set the Name, age, and gender of the students in my class. But can I set the )login) username for my students? Can they change this name.

Since it is the username that appears in the Paired Programming list I do not want the student selected usernames to appear.

I’m quite confused about why this issue appears when using Paired Programming. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Students can access their display name by clicking on their name in the upper right corner of the dashboard. The Account Settings option will get them there. This will be the name that shows up for paired programming as well.
