U4 Day 16-17: PD Discussion Topic
I had fun tailoring the ‘grades’ program and assignment to one that matches our school unique grading system.
When I teach this unit this semester, I will be more intentional about discussing AND and OR before working with it in Scratch. The first time I taught this, my class included 3 different levels of math knowledge. Some were comfortable with the logic and some were not.
I was able to modify the grading structure to match the school’s requirements for final exam and assessments. The first assessment student’s remembered the learning and did extremely well on the assignment.
