I haven’t tested this out yet, but I decided to do a modified gallery walk of the app posters this year. I will have two rounds of gallery walks. One person in each pair will stay to “present” their poster to others who come by to learn about their app while the other partner takes this gallery walk passport around to learn about the other projects. After about 10 minutes, the roles will reverse.
In the past I had students do gallery walks of just the posters at the same time, but there wasn’t any accountability or assurance that students were actually learning about other apps. I’m hoping this works out! Please let me know if you use it and if you have any feedback on how to improve the passport. Thanks!
