I’m working through some of Unit 4 during my remote Wednesdays with students. When I got to Lesson 4 about user interface testing with the paper model I had to do some head scratching. The idea I came up with was to make a Google Slides presentation with each slide being one of the paper app pages.
Students will work collaboratively to build hyperlinks between the slides so that it matches the functionality indicated on the navigation diagram. Then they can do the user testing tasks to evaluate the prototype.
This will give them the testing angle and a chance to work with a piece of functionality within a slide presentation app. Double learning!
